The main thing I'm trying to figure out right now is how much of the high fiber costs in Eastern Canada is due to excess demand for wood, and how much is just because of it being an inherently high cost region. If it is mostly the former, then a merged AbitibiBowater can go a long way in balancing the fiber situation in E. Canada.
